Gheel Autism Service currently invite you to send in your application for posts in the following areas:
- Clinical Psychologist,Gheel Autism Services,
- Director of Services, Gheel Autism Services.
- Under the supervision and direction of the Clinical Psychologist to provide psychological input to an individual service user with challenging needs.
- Monitoring and analysis of service user related data.
- Under supervision and direction to provide assessment reports, guidelines and reactive plans on behalf of Gheel Autism Services.
- To work directly with staff and service users and to model best practice.
- The post holder is expected to champion person centred low arousal support strategies for staff in Gheel.
- Maintain collaborative working relationships with psychology colleagues, multidisciplinary staff, and as required with outside agencies.
- To liaise with services, statutory organisations and others regarding individual service users.
- To attend supervision sessions, and receive additional supervision and support from other members of the Clinical team as appropriate.
- Maintain proper records of service provided in a manner compatible with Freedom of Information Act.
- Uphold your ethical duties and responsibilities as outlined in the Psychological Society of Ireland Code of Ethics.
- Other duties may be agreed with the service director and the clinical psychologist as and when required.

Applicants must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in an ID service for adults, preferably experience of supporting service users with autism.
Initially the post will be for a 12-month period. It may be possible to extend the post subject to funding.
