Gheel is a wonderful person centred and fun organisation to work in and for. Staff are dedicated and are a pleasure and privilege to work with. 2018 was a busy year with the exciting development of the Autism Informed Directorate to support autism practice in the service. Such development confirms Gheel’s commitment to quality and leadership in autism practice and supports. The service was also strengthened by new senior appointments and the development of new services for the people we support.
Also in 2018 we moved to a new Head office in North Dublin, opened a transition support office in Ballymun Civic Centre and continued to develop our information technology systems. In 2019 the service will continue its focus on autism practice and reorganising the service to continue Gheel’s ongoing commitment to developing excellence in autism.
